Plastic Love Studios will be appearing at Connecticon in the Artists' Colony August 1st - 3rd, Hartford, CT at the Connecticut Convention Center.

We will be doing custom I.D. Badges and Yes, Once again, Buttons! And yes, we will be holding a raffle... and quite possibly a scavenger hunt! SO all you Machinegun Angel fans come on and drop by our table for a free I MGA or Plastic Love evil skull cupcake button! (oh and if you come Saturday, You can meet my Mom! XD)

In other news... I dont want to jump to any conclusions, but i MAY be invited to be a guest at Another Anime Con in Nashua NH this October. I was talking with the con chairperson at PortCon and she is really, really awesome and down-to-earth. I had talked to her about the subject and I'm hoping with all I have that she will consider me AWESOME!

Also, a huge YOU FAIL to this certain "guy" who will remain nameless, who drew badges at PortCon. Look man, seriously. I know what youre doing, and I'm not dumb... You are a TRACER!! Seriously, you have the nerve to take a photograph of someone with your webcam and use Adobe Photoshop or whatever editing program you use to trace them?? Not only that but you have the nerve to charge 15 bucks.. (oh excuse me, you magically dropped to 10 :/...) for a picture of them the size of a postage stamp?! Thats worse than Studio Capsule charging damn near 25 dollars for theirs. (I effing charge 25 dollars for my full body color commissions!) Why the hell do you think I got so much buisness? BECAUSE I AM AN HONEST PERSON.

I can't tell you how many people came to my table saying "Oh, I wish i came to you instead because you actually draw people freehand" or the famous "That guy is a rip off and he takes too long" Tracing is tracing, and You, Sir, are a tracer. I cant respect someone as an artist if they have to trace a photgraph of someone to make it look like them. The best feedback I heard all weekend was this fine quote:

"He might as well just take a picture of your face and put that on the badge, and quit wasting his and everyone elses time."

Seriously, man. I saw your work. You've got talent! Quit wasting it!
